Rental Information

The following information is provided as a service to individuals, non-profits and businesses renting our facility.

Insurance Coverage:
Insurance Policy can be purchased for $250 for the day of the event or the renter must provide proof of coverage, listing the Augusta Curtis Cultural Center as an additional insured, for a minimum of $1,000,000 against claims of bodily injury, property liability and damage.  Homeowners may supply a Binder in lieu.  All paperwork, including a certificate of insurance, must be sent to the director 30 days in advance of the event.

The renter shall indemnify and hold harmless ACCC from any and all losses, damages and expenses including, but not limited to legal fees and costs arising from or as a result of any action or conduct on the part of the renter or its officers, employees, agents or guests in connection with the event.

Liquor Policy
A TIPS/SMART trained bartender must be provided by the renter or arranged through the caterer.  The caterer or bartender must furnish a certificate of insurance showing liability, liquor liability, automobile liability and workers compensation.  The server of liquor must provide the liquor license if needed.  No sale of liquor on premises is allowed unless liquor permit is obtained.

Reservation Fees
Non-refundable Reservation Fee: $150 for profit/$75 for not-for-profit

Security Deposit: $500 for profit/$250 for not-for-profit

Events going over the reserved time will be charged $100 for every 15 minutes over the scheduled event completion time.  In the event of cancellation deposit will not be refunded.  If event is cancelled less than 14 days prior to the event, 100% of the fees will be due.  ACCC reserves the right to raise fees for events scheduled to take place after the end of the current fiscal year up to, but not more than 15%.

ACCC may collect attorney fees in the event that it has to bring action to enforce any agreement.
